Today I shot the beautiful little miss Mila! She did a great job and I think her favorite part was the CAKE SMASHING! She got super messy but it was a lot of fun and the pictures came out fantastic! Check out this cutie!

La Verne, CA: Mikaila is 6 months!

This morning Jeff and I took a drive out to pudding stone park to shoot 6 month old Mikaila! (you can view her 3 month session here) She looks like a little baby doll! soooo adorable! Mikaila was in love with my boyfriend Jeff and she gave him some amazing smiles, along with the help of Mommy, Daddy and Grandma we got some great shots!

Lake Arrowhead CA: Jodi and Scott

On saturday I assisted the talented Inda Reid in a BEAUTIFUL wedding out in lake arrowhead! This place was a photographers dream! Scott and Jodi looked amazing and the night couldn’t have gone better!!

Hollywood CA: Fashion Shoot w/ Emmalou

Today I met up with my beautiful friend/model Emmalou Heidenreich for a fashion session! Her grandparents let us use their awesome warehouse in hollywood and we are really excited with the way the photos turned out! Afterwards we headed over to my studio for some extra shots before we both had to go work at Joeys List for 6 hours! hehe! I actually had about 46 favorite photos from our session but I had to narrow it down and it’s still a HUGE blog! Check it out!

Los Angeles: Ray is 9 Months!

I’ve been shooting this handsome little guy since he was 6 months old (You can view his 6 month session here) and he always gives me the BEST smiles!!! He has the best personality and it really shows throughout all his photos!! There were sooo many good shots that couldn’t just pick my normal 5 I had to post a few extra! Special props to Aunt Ali for dancing around, singing and acting crazy to get him to smile! Enjoy!

Los Angeles: The Drop Shoppe Shoot…

Today Inda Reid and I got together to shoot a little infomercial for The Drop Shoppe! We had the chance to feature a few of their awesome backdrops with some beautiful models! I can’t wait to do more shoots with these backdrops! I love the way they look! Here is a sneak peek of some of the photos I shot! Los Angeles: Baby Bean Has Arrived!

I’m glad that I didn’t have to be the one who chose the winners because there is no way I would have been able to decided!!! Everyone loves a contest!
Contest open to my Los Angeles California AND Ft.Lauderdale Florida Fans!
HOW TO ENTER:
-one entry per child
-you must be the legal parent or guardian of the child you enter into the contest
-child must be 12 years of age or younger on the date of entry
-submissions may NOT be professional photographs
-photos must have been taken in the past 6 months
-photos will be accepted beginning at 12pm pacific time on July 23, 2010 via email only
-only photos emailed to Vanessa.Chidsey@gmail.com with the subject line SMILES CONTEST will be accepted
-must include your child’s name and age in the email (first name and age will be posted with photo) along with your name and contact information
-contest is open to everyone, but the free session must take place within 30 miles of zip code 91406 for my california fans or 33325 for my Florida fans. An additional travel fee of $1 per mile each way will be added if over 30 miles.
-every entry will receive a $25 credit to use towards a future session. You must live within 30 miles of 91406 for california fans and 33325 for florida fans or willing to travel to me. Limit one per household. Credit must be used by November. 30, 2010.
JUDGING:
-all photos entered will be placed in an album by CHIDZography Photography on the Facebook Fan Page
-to vote for a photo, you MUST be a fan (”like”) the CHIDZography Photography Fan Page
-click “like” under the photo you are voting for in the album labeled “Smiles Contest 2010″
-voting will officially open on Monday, July 26, 2010
-photo with the most “likes” at the end of voting will be the winner. Comments are allowed, but will NOT count toward the total votes.
-voting will be closed at 11:59pm (pacific time) on Friday, July 30, 2010.
-the official winners will be announced on the blog on Saturday July 31st.
WHAT WILL YOU WIN?:
-the parent or legal guardian of the child in the winning photo will receive a free photo session (for up to 5 family members, $25 per additional person) with CHIDZography Photography, 11×14 print and Digital File of the image(s) of their choice.

Los Angeles: Sweet Baby Emma!

Today I shot 3 month old Emma! She had the cutest babydoll face, the best gummy smiles, sweetest personality and SOoOo much hair!! Her parents call it her “Beanie” and in some of the photos it looks like she has highlights! too cute! Check out the sneek peak!
